psoriasis foot
I have psoriasis on the palms of my hands and my right foot. Any remedy?

I slather Aquaphor all over myself twice a day, and Dr. ointment prescribed drugs is not working. The itching is driving me crazy. I've had it for years but seems to be getting worse. Can anyone help me with a remedy?

Hello Belle C Here are some ideas for both internal and external focus. Psoria may be related to deficiency of vitamin D. Many people who find their condition is better when they pass a lot of time in the sun in the winter relief to go to a tanning salon and the use of UVB booth. Others have found other ways of getting UVB treatment at home without a prescription such as the purchase of UVB lights meant for reptiles as pets. Given that psoriasis is primarily at the ends, could be a good solution for you. Vitamin D Council is a good site for more information on the amount of vitamin D3 swallowing for the times of year you do not get enough sunlight. Also provide information about how to be subjected to tests to see if you are vitamin D deficient. The combination of saltwater and UVB rays (simulated beach!) Seems to work especially well for some. Regular table salt and Epsom salts can be effective when dissolved in a bathtub full of water. Finally, although the investigation of the gallbladder and liver problems I found the studies that found to take bile salts to aid digestion can help psoriasis. That would make sense from the standpoint of a diseased liver or slow frequency can be expressed of various skin conditions. I hope that helps some! Good luck!
